Sustainable Living Workshops (SLW)

To date (March 2015) we have hosted 2 Sustainable Living Workshops (SLW) in Grey Bruce. Both were successful with more that 20 people registered in each, and the two were very different.

In theory, the SLW is designed to expose participants to a range of “activities” that support a more sustainable lifestyle. What is that? you ask.

Essentially, a lifestyle that will leave the planet in better shape that we found it. The main elements would include:

  • Localization – eating, playing and working locally;
  • Low “carbon footprint”;
  • Zero Waste;
  • Water Efficiency
  • Multi-generational community;
  • “do it yourself” (DIY)
  • etc., you get the drift.

Please visit the other pages to see what kind of events we have hosted.

Keep your eyes peeled for the next date….hopefully Spring of 2015.
