CAT BGOS Mission Statement


To offer and maintain meeting space, support and format for the discussion and
development of individual and community actions/responses aimed at local
mitigation of and adaptation to the climate crisis.
To assist positive transformation from a divided community paralyzed by lack of
clear leadership in the face of climate crisis to a community strengthened by
positive engagement in implementing sustainable solutions.

 Inclusiveness
 Sustainability
 Partnership

Goals and timelines:
 Maintain structured meeting environment that is responsive to the group
 Create workable communications platform for individual and group
 Petition Owen Sound City Council and neighbouring municipalities to
declare a climate crisis and take appropriate steps accordingly.
